Playtime at the Playa is a free, open-play program designed for young learners and their caregivers to explore, discover, and connect with nature! As part of the WILD at The Preserve outdoor education series, these sessions provide hands-on experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and environmental stewardship.

Each session offers:

🌿 Engaging Nature Play – Sensory activities, open exploration, and outdoor learning experiences tailored for ages 2-7 (with adaptations for other ages).

📖 Storytime & Learning Circles – Interactive storytelling and lessons that spark curiosity about wildlife, habitats, and conservation.
🦊 Hands-on Activities – Inspired by Texas Parks and Wildlife’s Project WILD curriculum, sessions highlight key environmental concepts.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Community Building – Connect with other families who share a passion for outdoor education and play-based learning.

Caregivers will actively participate alongside their children, creating meaningful moments together in nature.
